Just received your new book “HOW TO WRITE AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE” it’s wonderful, has a great format! I have one question about how the two forms are used, e.g. Left & right handed I can recognize the differences, but how are used in writing other then showing two handed signs?

Knowing the handedness helps show palm orientation when using one hand. For example, if the writer is right-handed (from using a majority of right-handed digits) then you can see where the hand is facing you or turned outwards.
